Value for money. The opinions that were so bad don't correspond with what I saw. I think they're exaggerated. The location of the accommodation is not bad. To sleep 1 night is perfect, for nothing else. That's what you can expect from the price. The man, very kind, advised me where to park, in Parcheggio Parterre, 10 euros the first day, 15 euros the second, 20 euros the third. I neither like it nor dislike it: 24h porter's lodge, because there is always someone at the porter's lodge you have to leave the keys at the reception.
It is in the ZTL (Zona Trafico Limitato) and cannot be reached by car (I made a route with a rental car). We got the nº101, double bed (literally, it was two single welded beds) with some old spring mattresses, uncomfortable. The plywood wardrobe was knackered. The bathroom (and in general the bedroom) smelled of drainage, maybe because of the works in Florence as it smelled from time to time in the center. An air freshener would have come in handy. Sitting in the bathroom was a risky sport. Risk of drilling holes in the wall with your head, there was a minimal frontal separation from the wall. Having to ring the bell downstairs every time you want to enter/exit the building. The WiFi didn't reach the room. I don't recommend breakfast there, 10 euros/person. You don't spend it even next to the Academy Gallery.

This hotel's location is really convenient, just a few minutes away from the train station and close to all the historic sites. The staff is friendly and the basic amenities are provided. The rooms offer a great view over the park across the street, which adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast, while basic, includes fruit, rolls.
One small improvement would be to address the issue of noise from outside the hotel, as it can sometimes be distracting.

Very nice hotel with very good location-close to the train station and the city centre- about 15 min. walk.We travelled as family of four and used quarter room,The room was big with enough space for four people and lovely view to the city centre and Del Doumo. Basic breakfast with nice coffee.

We loved the location of the hotel, close to the park, train station, and main monuments. The small room we requested had a fabulous view of the park and the Dome. The staff was friendly and helpful. The old building was beautifully maintained.
Felt very lucky, no complaint.

I did not want to leave, had a very lovely experience and would love to come back. The hotel was wonderful small, and I enjoyed it. The breakfast was good with plenty of savoury food on offer. The venue had a marvellous location near an indoor market hall. There was a good restaurant, a supermarket and shops next door.

The staff were phenomenal. They were very friendly and helpful.
We had to get used to walking up 4 flights of stairs, and issues associated with an old building. However, the oldness of the building and its nuances grew on us and added to the charm.

Hotel was in a nice place across from a park and was walking distance from everything.
The bed was less than desirable and the breakfast was a little light.

This hotel is definitely worth the price. The value for money is exceptional as prices are very reasonable for what you get. They pay attention to detail, providing basic amenities like a fridge in the rooms, and better yet, there's no surcharge for a room with a better view. The location is superb as it's situated in the centre of Florence, close to a park, and within walking distance of all the major attractions. From the reviews, it's clear that the staff at this hotel are fantastic. Not only are they friendly and professional, but they go above and beyond to assist their guests. Whether it's recommending neighborhoods to explore or spending extra time finding the best dinner spot, they truly make you feel welcome and well taken care of. The breakfast provided at this hotel is a definite highlight. With a wide variety of pastries to choose from, it's a great way to start your day off on a delicious note. The buffet also includes additional options like nuts and rice cakes, making it stand out from other continental breakfasts.
All was fine with this hotel.

Not sure but think they had bed bugs. We got lots of bites. I know they had mosquitoes and little flies. We had to keep the windows closed to prevent bugs but we still got torn up. Took several days to get over them
